Explore effective strategies for teaching the events and impact of 9/11 to a generation that was not alive during the attacks. This session will help educators navigate sensitive topics, foster empathy, and connect the historical significance of 9/11 to today’s global issues. Learn how to approach difficult conversations, incorporate multimedia resources, and create lessons that promote understanding and reflection. Participants will leave with tools to engage students in discussions about terrorism, resilience, and the ways 9/11 continues to shape the world.
