Through these projects, students take ownership in their learning, connecting national, state or local issues to people and developments in their local area. The project design provides a framework for students to learn more about and engage in their local communities. This knowledge helps to build a sense of pride and respect for themselves, their families and the local area. Designed for Civics Literacy or AP Gov classes.
