2025 North Carolina Council for the Social Studies Conference

Ashley is excited to speak about two things she is passionate about: education technology and social studies education! She is also running for a position on the NCCSS Board of Directors.

A social studies teacher for 13 years, Ashley has served many roles including curriculum writer and social studies department chair. Her passion for social studies education extends beyond the classroom. In her tenure as an educator, she has served in the ICivics Educator Network, Bill of Rights Institute Teacher Advisory Board, Retro Report Teacher Advisor, and as a National Civics Bee question writer. She is also passionate about STEM education and educational technology.
