About me
Hello! My name is Jenny Marvel, and I am the Head of School and Community Programs at the Ackland Art Museum, UNC-Chapel Hill. I develop, implement, and assess K12 and community tours, online resource materials for students and teachers, and cross-cultural and interdisciplinary teacher workshops/in-services. When not at work, I love going on walking treks in nature – some of my favorite long-distance walks (so far) include the Camino de Santiago in Spain, Hadrian’s Wall in England, the Inca Trail in Peru, and most recently Romania's Painted Monasteries in Bucovina.
