About me
Samantha Zapata, a 20-year veteran educator, is the Social Studies Curriculum Specialist for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She supports over 40 high schools and nearly 400 teachers through professional development, instructional design, and training. Committed to equity and inclusion, she works to ensure all educators can provide an equitable learning experience. Her mission is to equip students with critical thinking skills for engaged global citizenship.
